Back in 1971 Mr. Mergelman was commissioned to do a one of a kind bronze called The Shootout (OK Corral). All molds were destroyed. It was made for my uncles company and he wants to sell it now. In 1981 it was appraised at $376,000. My uncle is willing to sell it at $200,000. It is a very heavy piece that is about 4' long. It has a lot of other items included (original sketchings of the pieces, articles, appraisal, etc.)

If you are interested or have someone interested please contact me anytime. We also have many pieces of original sports art and memorabilia along with other bronzes.

Thank you, Keith D. Jones

I assume the piece you have is from Rudl Mergelman. Rudl is still producing art you should give him a call at his studio, it is possible he might be able to broker a deal with one of his collectors. Little out of my price range but would love to see a picture!-Good Luck

If you go to www.epicsportsclub.com/waterford.htm you can see a couple pics and description. I talked to Mr. Mergelman and he remembers everything about the piece which was done way back in 1971. I never thought of asking him if he had any collectors. I will give him a call. Thank you Keith
