I have twelve painted ponies. I bought my first two while my family and I were on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC two years ago. I live in Virginia, so every time I go to Myrtle Beach I pick up at least two or three. I am starting to run out of shelf space. But the collection continues!!!

Yes, I am a "Painted Pony" Collector. I received first pony as a gift from good friends of mine. I had told them my husband & I went to the big horse show and I came across these magnificent looking horse figurines (http://www.allsculptures.com/horse-sculptures.php). I must have spent an hour or more just looking at all the different ponies. I have to say I do like the Native ponies the best. After telling my friend all about them it turns out she too collects them , she went to the horse show that evening and the next day she called me over for a cup of coffee and presented me with a gift.I opened it up and there before me was the "War Pony" !! words can not express how I felt when I saw it. Since then I have added to my collection. I have the Medicine horse, Anistazi Spirit horse, Wilderness Round-Up , Happy Trails, Willing and the newest.Silverado. Needless to say I told my friend she has opened up Pandoras Box for now I tell people that if they want to buy me a gift I would love a Painted Pony.
I have also added to her collection as well. We now have our own little competition to see who recieves what and how many we have in our own collection. I am looking forward to the newest releases this Fall.
