Wolf Statues and Sculptures |
| |
| Cherokee Indians called
the wolf "Wahya" and also used it as a
name reserved for their bravest warriors, hunters
and tribal leaders. In early literature, such as
the famous English epic poem "Beowulf,"
heroic characters were named for the wolf as a symbol
of strength. Many of today's artists, authors and
sculptors continue to pay homage to this mysterious
creature. |
